Welcome to Speak Ndebele.Com's BLOGG - This blogg is an extension of www.speakndebele.com and is meant for everyone of every age who is interested in learning Ndebele. Use our dynamic multimedia and interactive course to help you to learn Ndebele Today. The Ndebele language is called isiNdebele, although it also sometimes known as just Ndebele, or isiKhethu. It is classified among the Nguni languages (Zulu, Swazi, Xhosa, isiNdebele). The site is mainly focused on the Ndebele people of Zimbabwe (Northern Ndebele) - the amaNdebele/Matabele. The Ndebele spoken in Zimbabwe is much closer to Zulu than the kind that is spoken in South Africa which is much closer to Swazi. Although we are focusing on the Northern Ndebele Language - the site is a tribute to the Ndebele culture, art forms, lifestyle & spoken word everywhere.
